Flexdeal Simfe S.A. (FLEXD.LS) announced on 19 March 2026 an increase in its qualified participation in Raize - Instituicao de Pagamentos, S.A. (MLRZE.LS), according to a regulatory communication ("Comunicado - Aumento participacao Flexdeal SIMFE").
Flexdeal, Portugal's first SIMFE, had previously informed Banco de Portugal of its intention to increase its stake in Raize to up to 51% of the share capital and voting rights, through an acquisition of shares at market price. According to reporting by ECO and Jornal de Negocios, Flexdeal has since advanced plans to acquire 100% of the Raize collaborative financing platform, in which it already holds more than 49%.
The operation is subject to approval by Banco de Portugal, which supervises Raize as a licensed payment institution. Raize operates a collaborative financing and payments platform for Portuguese SMEs and is listed on Euronext Access Lisbon.
