C2 Capital Partners SCR announced an investment of up to EUR 4 million in Raize - Instituicao de Pagamentos, S.A. (MLRZE.LS), according to a regulatory communication dated 22 June 2025 ("Comunicado - Investimento C2 Capital Partners SCR").
The investment is aimed at improving Raize's technological infrastructure and supporting the company's international expansion to markets including Spain, Luxembourg, and Italy, according to reporting by ECO and Jornal de Negocios. An initial tranche was committed upfront, with the remaining EUR 2 million contingent on Raize's performance in 2025 and 2026, structured in two additional tranches of EUR 1 million each.
Raize is a payment institution supervised by Banco de Portugal and operates a collaborative financing platform for Portuguese SMEs. The company is listed on Euronext Access Lisbon.
